Felix Castañon
Felix Castañon, a proud first-generation Mexican American and lifelong resident of El Paso, embodies resilience and dedication. Growing up in the Devil’s Triangle, one of El Paso’s most enduring neighborhoods, Felix learned the importance of perseverance and community support early on. As one of the first in his family to attend college and the first to pursue graduate studies, he has blazed a trail defined by achievement and service.
With an impressive 26-year legal career, Felix brings a wealth of experience to his community. His nearly four years as an Assistant District Attorney and over two decades as an Assistant Public Defender have honed his legal expertise and sharpened his commitment to justice. Having managed close to 100 jury trials, spanning cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies, Felix approaches each case with seasoned insight and a strong sense of fairness.
Octavio Dominguez
Octavio Dominguez, a proud El Paso native, was born in El Paso and raised in Cd. Juarez, commuting daily to school before his family settled in the city full-time. A Cathedral High School graduate, he earned his B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University and later received his law degree with honors from SMU Dedman School of Law.
Licensed to practice in Texas, including the Western and Northern Districts, Octavio returned to El Paso in 2013, completing federal clerkships with Magistrate Judge Anne T. Berton and District Judge David C. Guaderrama. He later served as a supervising Deputy Public Defender with the El Paso County Public Defenders, leading trial attorneys and managing his own docket. With nearly a decade of legal experience, Octavio is a dedicated advocate and committed public servant, deeply rooted in his community.
